Do you remember when you were younger, and you were finally old enough to be allowed on that exciting rollercoaster ride? I do. I was standing in line and felt thrilled, a little scared at first because I didn’t know what to expect. Suddenly I found myself sitting in the ride, beginning to feel nervous and agitated because I had no idea what this ride was going to be like. I was strapped in and there was no way back. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I realised I was smiling, laughing, screaming, lifting my hands in the loops and did not want to look before the last drop because I was sad it was already over. Adrenaline rushed through my body and ran back to the line to go again. That’s what EUC was for me.

Class of 2019, Major in Psychology

The first year is exciting, thrilling and scary at the same time. You meet new people, you want to be liked, you’re taking courses from so many different disciplines that it’s difficult to choose what you like most. Before you know it you’re starting your second year and you’re taking courses that inspire you and will get you closer to fulfilling your dream! By then you will have found your own place, you see how much freedom you have, you’re filled with happiness and feel like the wind could take you anywhere. Third year comes, you close your eyes one last time, you hand in your thesis and you have graduated. Again, you feel so much adrenaline walking out of the hall knowing that you made it, knowing that you strived to be your best self and succeeded.

EUC is an unforgettable rollercoaster where your life as an adult begins. You meet friends for life and the best thing is that once you have finished, you will feel like the world is at your feet.
