An international focus lies at the heart of everything we do at Erasmus University College. From the design of the curriculum, to the background of our students and faculty, to the city-centre campus in the heart of cosmopolitan Rotterdam, EUC will immerse you in a multiplicity of cultures and empower you as a truly global citizen.
A truly international curriculum, our Liberal Arts & Sciences programme makes extensive use of cases and problem sets with an international dimension. Globalization takes a major role in a majority of our departments and this phenomenon is studied through multiple lenses from different disciplines in small tutorial sessions of 12-15 students.
Outside of the classroom you will also learn a lot about different cultures from studying and living with your fellow students in our international student body. We pride ourselves on the various nationalities of our students, having approximately a 50/50 ratio of Dutch to international students. You will constantly engage in cross-cultural interactions with people from all across the world, which will improve your ability to excel in a globalising society.
Last but not least you will live and study in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities: Rotterdam, a vibrant community of more than a 100 nationalities. It is no coincidence that EUC is located right in the centre of the city; we have broken the boundary of the traditional classroom, extending learning to interactions with various organizations in the second largest city of the Netherlands.
This map outlines where our students come from:

If you are someone who wants to learn by doing, have the freedom of shaping your study choices throughout the degree, develop transferable skills that you can apply outside the university, and be part of the international community in the heart of Rotterdam- EUC is the right place.for you!
