People from many different backgrounds
When I graduated from my bachelor in economics I knew that I wanted to do my master in accounting and auditing. There are many things that I enjoyed about this course. I met a lot of people from many different backgrounds and, different stories to tell. Some of which have become my closest friends and are currently employed at the same company as I am.
It helped me get to where I currently am
During the year I have been challenged and supported by my professors. The majority of professors that teach in this master course worked for an accounting company, or are currently working for them. Not only did they help me with my study, but they provided me with a lot of insights into my future career prospects. Some of the professors take it a step further, and invite companies to provide guest lectures and trainings. Multiple trainings were organised and each of the Big Four companies joined. I met my current employer through these trainings.
All in all I really enjoyed studying accounting at Erasmus School of Economics. It helped me get to where I currently am, and I will take it from here.
