Requirements	You are accepted as a PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Your PhD programme is in an area related to the priorities of the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología’ (the National Council of Science and Technology, abbreviated CONACyT). You are granted a scholarship from CONACyT under this agreement
Nationality	Mexican
Participating faculty	All faculties (Erasmus MC has a separate agreement)
Level of study	PhD
Scholarship / Grant in €	35% discount on PhD tuition for four years of your programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam Grant from CONACyT for health insurance, travel and living expenses, as outlined in annual plan from CONACyT
Deadline	Varies by programme; please follow application guidelines on each PhD programme website carefully

Background information

Erasmus University Rotterdam is working on a number of initiatives to increase the exchange of experiences and knowledge with Mexican academics and institutions. In 2018, the university signed an agreement with CONACyT as one step in supporting this effort.
