Admission statement

Students who wish to enroll in a masterā€™s degree programme and do not yet have a degree from the preceding bachelorā€™s degree programme, must have an admission statement. They must meet the requirements stated in the Teaching and Examination Regulations of the master's degree programme.

In the case of an affiliated master's degree programme, the requirements will correspond to the qualities in the areas of knowledge, insight and skills that must be acquired before termination of the previous bachelor's degree programme.

For other master's degree programmes, the requirements pertain to potential knowledge, insight and skills acquired on termination of a bachelor's degree programme.

Applications for admission will be assessed by the faculty, usually by the Examination Board.

The Executive Board may determine the maximum number of persons to be enrolled in a master's degree programme.

An admission statement will be issued if the admission requirements have been met and in so far as any capacity restrictions have not been exceeded. The admission statement does not constitute an enrolment. After receiving the admission statement the students have to submit a request for enrolment.
