There are several international university rankings which Erasmus School of Economics participates in that are considered to be most influential ones. QS World University Ranking, Times Higher Education Ranking and Academic  Ranking of World Universities. Most of the ranking are focused on research, but some of them became multi-dimensional in the past few years.

The above mentioned influential rankings have determined that there is a demand for a more balanced ranking system that is based on more indicators besides research. Thus, they have adjusted their methodology by incorporating more indicators, which definitely give a more balanced and accurate view of a university.
