On 11 October, 2018 a former S.S.R.-Rotterdam group of friends (jaarclub) celebrated their 56e birthday with a trip to Leeuwarden. During this trip, this group was received by the mayor of Leeuwarden: Fred Crone. The mayor gave them a special guided tour. The jaarclub received a special Erasmus bowl (fusion glass bowl dreaming)from the Erasmus School of Economics Alumni Office to hand to Fred Crone. This colourful eyecatcher now stands in the office space, so even in the capital of Friesland our mark can be found. As a token of appreciation, the jaarclub donated to the Erasmus Education Fund.
