Alumnus Bart Schlatmann, former Chief Operational Officer at ING Netherlands, has a new top function at Allianz. One of his main achievements at ING was the introduction of agile working. At Allianz he will be managing the division Direkt, which contains of 2.000 employees.
After his graduation in 1995, Bart Schlatmann started his career as management trainee at ING and worked at ING Investment Management in the United States. In 2000, he became managing director of the Dutch bookstore company Bruna. From 2007 on he was COO of ING. Here he obtained a vast experience in leading a large corporate transformation. Inspired by companies as Spotify,and Amazon, he digitalised working at ING. He was also responsible for the introduction of self-managing and multidisciplinary teams. The so-called squads of tribes.
