As of 1 September 2017 Prof. Benedict Dellaert has been appointed the new Director of the Department of Business Economics at Erasmus School of Economics. He succeeds Prof. Bas Donkers who has been director for four years.
Bas Donkers: ‘Looking back at the past 4 years, I see a department that has grown a lot in terms of students, faculty members, but most importantly in terms of quality of research and teaching. It has been my pleasure facilitating this process where it was needed.’
Benedict Dellaert thanks his predecessor for all his good work and the strong position for Business Economics which he can built upon. Dellaert: ‘My main objective is to give an impetus to the societal relevance and attention to quality.’
