'Central banks shouldn't be guided that much by politics'

'Centrale banken moeten zich niet teveel laten leiden door

Mary Pieterse-Bloem, global head of fixed income strategy at ABN AMBRO and teacher of Finance at Erasmus School of Economics, was invited to Bloomberg to explain the policy of the Federal reserve, inflation and president Trump.

‘I don’t think that central banks should be guided that much by all that is going on in the political arena. The Federal Reserve will be looking mostly at inflationary pressures and how the economy is shaping up.’ According to Pieterse-Bloem.
