'Children are taking on the world leadership' - Alumnus Heiko Schipper

He is a Dutch troubleshooter in the eye of the storm at German powerhouse Bayer. In this interview, Heiki Schipper (50) talks about choking on acquisitions, being the son of a CEO and stability at home as a prerequisite. 'I don't believe that people who live with extreme ups and downs perform better eventually.' 

Schipper rarely gives interviews and never worked in the Netherlands. Recently he became commissioner at FrieslandCampina, which provides new material for discussion with his father Rob, who was part of the board of predecessor Friesche Vlag. In this interview, he further talks about leadership for future generations and the role companies should play in this.
