Dyaran Bansraj, PhD Candidate at Erasmus School of Economics and Erasmus Research Institute of Management, will join the Finance Faculty of Cass Business School, City, University of London as Lecturer in September 2020.
Dyaran completed his Master’s degrees in Financial Economics at Erasmus School of Economics and Financial Law at Erasmus School of Law in 2015. During his Master's, he took part in the Erasmus School of Economics Research Traineeship Programme. Subsequently, he started his PhD at Erasmus Research Institute of Management.
His main research interests lie at the intersection of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and industrial organisation. Specifically, he analyses the relation between private equity ownership and acquisition activities. His expertise lies in buy-and-build strategies.
