Economists doubt the cut down on gas extraction

The revenues from gas extraction is only a small part of the State’s budget. However, some economists do have doubts concerning the cut down on gas extraction. Bas Jacobs, Professor of Public Finance and Economic Policy at Erasmus School of Economics, shares his opinion on the matter.

According to Jacobs the cut down will have a limited effect on our economy. However, he does have concerns whether the reduction on gas extraction is economically rational.
