EFR looks back at a successful 2016

2016 has come to an end, and the EFR looks back at a year with spectacular highlights.

Two events in particular come to mind, first of all the World Leader Cycle Award which was granted to the (former) Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, and secondly the more recent ‘Transform Your World’ event.

The latter was organised in corporation with the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition and the Sustainable Development Goals Charter and hosted the CEO’s of DSM, Unilever and Philips, the president-Director of Shell Netherlands, the Dutch minister for foreign trade and development coorperation Lilianne Ploumen and the UN special Advocate for the SDGs David Nabarro, amongst others. The organisation of such a large scale event would not have been possible without the active attitude of the staff of the Erasmus School of Economics, for which we are very grateful! Have a look at the after movie in the link below.

However, 2016 is in the past and we are already looking forward to some thrilling events which we will organise in 2017. In particular, as you may have seen at one of many promotion stunts, the Erasmus Recruitment Days, the biggest on-campus recruitment event of Europe, will start this month. The promotion is going well and we are on our way to another record breaking subscription count!

The EFR hopes to organise many more events in corporation with the ESE this year and wishes you all a happy and successful 2017!
