ESE House Rules

ESE House Rules

To let students benefit fully from the education offered, ESE expects students to actively participate in the programme and to show mutual respect for staff and fellow students in all aspects of contact.

Besides the already existing Code of conduct, a short list of ESE House rules has been developed, which specifies how students are expected to behave both inside and outside class.

The new ESE House rules consist of six short rules aimed at improving the teaching experience for both students and teachers:

  • Be on time
  • Do not disturb class
  • Be prepared and participate actively in class
  • Contribute actively to group assignments
  • The perusal of exams is for feedback and not for negotiation
  • Use your student e-mail account and stick to the e-mail etiquette.

Note that these rules complement the already existing ESE Code of conduct.
