The first month of the New Year has passed and FAECTOR has made sure that January was filled with all kinds of activities. From career oriented events like Find Your Match and ICansultancy, to more social and sportive events like the FAECTOR Ski Trip to Sauze d'Oulx.
Last Month
After the Christmas break, all FAECTORians had the chance to see each other again at both the (Pre-) Master New Year's Drink and the regular After Exam Drink. The first week of the block we had the pleasure of making sure that the beer kept flowing at Eetcafé Concordia!
Lots of third and fourth year students went on exchange the first two blocks of the academic year. After undoubtedly an amazing time at their destination, they could enjoy free pizza and a couple of drinks during the Third Years Standing Dinner, while catching up with each other and telling all their stories! On 17 January, Find Your Match (FYM) took place. FYM is the yearly speed date event for Master students to find their thesis internship organised by FAECTOR. For this event, over fifteen companies came to the Faculty Club looking for new interns and starters. The event was a great success and we want to thank our volunteers and all participating companies for this brilliant day!
Upcoming Month
Did you miss the info session about the Business Trip to Seoul during the Spring break (27 April – 6 May 2018), that took place on 5 February? No worries! Please note that the deadline to apply for a spot on the Business Trip is 17 February. Register here!
On 15 February, the yearly Interfaculty Gala will take place at Eethiek. Every FAECTOR-member can bring one guest that is not a member of any of the 6 participating associations, so at the subscription form you can choose to buy either one or two tickets. The price for a ticket is €37.50, for which you get an amazing night with your friends and unlimited drinks, including beer, wine, soda and several types of liquor! Note that there are extra tickets available, but quantities are limited. Don't hesitate any longer and sign up here!
