On Friday 14 October 2022 the ECEFG Competition Policy Workshop 2022 on 'Big Tech in Competition Policy: Perspectives from economics and law', organised by Erasmus Center for Economic and Financial Governance (ECEFG), with the support of the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus School of Law, and the Tinbergen Institute, took place in Rotterdam.
The first edition of the ECEFG Competition Policy Workshop featured 12 presentations from economists and legal academics on current challenges concerning Big Tech in Competition Policy.
This event brought together experts from these different disciplines, both academics and practitioners, who engaged in exciting discussions and shared their thoughts and concerns.
The success of the workshop, which provided a platform for economists and legal academics to engage in conversations regarding the present and future of competition policy, makes possible that a second edition of the ECEFG Competition Policy Workshop will be held next year.
