Researcher Martijn Hendriks of the Erasmus Happiness Economics Research Organisation (EHERO), linked data about happiness to the temperature. And what shows: the higher the temperatures, the better the Dutch people feel. Which is good for the economy too.
'On hot days, the Dutch spend more time on activities that contribute to their happiness, for example, they work less, spend more time outside, exercise more, and go to work more often by bike.'
