This article focuses on alumna Anouk Kooijmans- who was CEO of the outdoor brand Nomads. After the former CEO, her brother, died in the MH17 disaster Kooijmans took over the company. Since Kooijmans took over the company, Nomads started to concentrate more on digitalisation and less on retail. Now, the company is sold to private equity firm Nederlands Merk.
