Investing as an asset on your resume

Erasmus School of Economics

Fourteen students from the Floryn Women investment club, mostly economics and econometrics students of Erasmus School of Economics, meet every two weeks. They prepare pitches for the companies they want to invest in, dive into annual reports and make in-depth analyses of the strengths and weaknesses of a company.

The women are part of the mainly male investment club B & R Beurs, which includes about 1,100 students. B & R stands in English for 'Investing and Return'. How do these young investors look at the financial markets? Aren't shares old-fashioned? Do women invest differently than men?
