KPMG-partner Leo Blok bought Spido in 2006 as an investment, but was later forced to become director. Now, the shipping company is celebrating its 100th anniversary. An interview about cash deficits, 'genetical' involvement and having The Beach Boys at your party.
'I am fond of music from the sixties and seventies. I was a DJ as a student, I have a large collection of records.' After his retirement he started playing the drums and performing with his band. The concert of the legendary American band on 5 July at the Maasvlakte is a financial adventure, which brings up the account in Blok. 'This requiers tonnes of money.'
