In an article in de Volkskrant, several experts discuss the case for more pay transparency. Willem Verbeke, Professor of Sales and Account management at Erasmus School of Economics, sees that new forms of compensation are on the rise.
'I welcome the fact that companies are experimenting with salary forms that stimulate fairer remuneration, team performance or innovation. That makes rewarding more creative and playful.’ Whether more firms will switch to a transparent payment system depends on the culture of the organisation, according to Verbeke.
