On Friday 12 January 2018 Olivier Herlem will defend his PhD thesis entitled 'Algorithms for Multiclass Classification and Regularized Regression'. Supervisor is Professor Patrick Groenen and co-supervisor is Dr Andreas Alfons (both Erasmus School of Economics). Other members of the committee are: Dr Dennis Fok (Erasmus School of Economics), Professor Alfred Hero (University of Michigan) and Professor Henk Kiers (University of Groningen).
Gertjan’s PhD research project is conducted within the Erasmus Doctoral Programme organised by Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM), the joint research institute of Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) of the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR).
