On ‘Prince’s Day’ (Prinsjesdag) 2018, the Dutch government presented a positive story. Despite the fact that health care premiums and the VAT are rising, “at the end the situation of many people will improve, thanks to a whole system of regulations”, says Sandra Phlippen, Assistant Professor at Eramus School of Economics and Head for the Netherlands of ABN AMRO’s Group Economics, in an interview with Radio Rijnmond.
Later that day Phlippen was a guest at Studio Erasmus and RTL Late night. At RTL Late night, she gave a stance at the debate between Jesse Klaver (GroenLinks) and Thierry Baudet (Forum voor Democratie) recarding the plans of the cabinet.
