The department of economics has pleasure in announcing that Prof.dr. Joel Sobel from the University of California in San Diego has accepted our invitation to be with us from September 2013 until June 2014. Prof. Sobel will hold the Chair of 'Game theory and Microeconomics' at the EUR.
His research addresses issues in game-theory and auditing. His articles have been published in leading academic journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, and the Review of Economic Studies. He is currently co-editor of Econometrica.
