Linn van Aanholt and Elise de Jong, students at Erasmus School of Economics, have won the title Sportswoman of the Year and Sports Talent of the Year respectively at the Rotterdam 2025 Sports Awards. The announcement took place on Friday 23 January, at Theater Zuidplein.
In 2025, Linn van Aanholt won gold as a rower at the World Championships in Shanghai and gold and silver at the European Championships in Plovdiv. Linn began her International Bachelor in Economics and Business Economics (IBEB) at Erasmus School of Economics in 2020. She is currently completing two master specialisations at our School.
Pole vaulter Elise de Jong, who is in her second year of the Bachelor's programme Econometrics at Erasmus School of Economics, broke record after record in 2025. She competed in the European Championships in Tampere, Finland, where she won the gold medal for Team NL.
