How can you make sure that colleagues, editors, funders, and others can easily find information about your research and your publications?
Being findable as a researcher can be quite a challenge, because your name might not be unique or because your name changes during your academic career. Databases and publishers try to manage this challenge by using author identifiers and researcher profiles. In some cases you can claim, edit and add information to your profile.
In this workshop we will look at some of these profiles, such as ORCID, Web of Science ResearcherID, Scopus Author Identifier, Google Scholar Profile, and ResearchGate. We will also look into the “people pages” of the EUR, and the EUR & Erasmus MC Research Information Portal (Pure).
