International exhibition Rethinking Inclusion and Gender Empowerment

An evening of storytelling & images

After touring Europe, the international exhibition ReIncluGen – Rethinking Inclusion and Gender Empowerment is coming to Antwerp.

Through photovoicing and storytelling, migrant women from different European countries share their visions of inclusion and gender empowerment. Their photos and stories were collected in the book Whispering truths in many ways and places and will now be presented for the final time through our exhibition at De Studio.

About ReIncluGen

The ReIncluGen project is a participatory research project, funded by Horizon Europe, that aims to unpack the different conceptualisations of gender empowerment from a ‘situated intersectional’ approach and evaluate empowering and inclusive practices of European civil society organisations (CSOs), and how these are embedded in policies and media discourses in order to co-design a digital networking platform and other innovative tools to further support these CSOs.
