ODISSEI is hosting its next live conference in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, on 4 November 2025. ODISSEI, the research infrastructure for social science in the Netherlands, connects researchers with the necessary data, expertise and resources to conduct ground-breaking research and embrace the computational turn in social enquiry. This conference seeks to bring together a community of computational social scientists to discuss data, methods, infrastructure, policy application, ethics and theoretical work related to digital and computational approaches in social science research.

Free admission with a registration
Registration for the annual ODISSEI Conference on Computational Social Science is now open. The conference will take place on the 4th of November 2025 from 9:00 to 18:00 at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. This year’s keynotes will be delivered by Merce Crosas (Head of the SSH Division at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center) and Melinda Mills (Professor of Demography and Population Health and Director of the Demographic Science Unit at the University of Oxford). The programme includes five parallel sessions, hands-on workshop sessions and a marketplace showcasing ODISSEI facilities and partner organisations.
