On Thursday April 1st, we received the tragic news that Diana Choo-Hen, one of our Dutch students within the International Bachelor Psychology program, passed away.
Diana’s peers and tutors wanted to share the following:
“Diana always brought a positive energy to class, an aura that made the atmosphere calmer. I can only imagine the magnitude of impact she could have made in the field she chose to go into. Diana will be truly missed.”
“Though Diana was neither the loudest nor most quiet of students in my groups, her participation was beyond average. She would speak up in a considerate manner, ask questions driven by her intellectual curiosity, and colour the group atmosphere with her positive attitude, even online. I can only hope all of us have someone as kind and gentle as Diana in our private lives.”
“Diana was interested in the people she met. She was always down to have a chat and ask personal questions to her fellow students and tutor, which helped close the distance that most of us feel during the era of online education.”
Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of her family, friends and peers at this poignant time. Wishing you much strength. We may not be able to meet you in person to support you at this present moment. But that does not mean we are not here. We would also like to offer you the chance to attend an online memorial session, if you want to talk about how you are feeling, as well as remember Diana for the wonderful person she was.
