Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in Youth & Family at the Department of Psychology, Education and Child Studies. I am particularly interested in the processes that shape the development of children’s and youths’ ethnic-racial identity and intergroup attitudes. For that reason, I investigate what they learn about ethnicity and race-related topics (i.e., ethnic-racial socialization) within their families and at school. My other line of research examines how adults’ respond to diversity-related social change.
