The broad international and interdisciplinary scope of the programme will also give you job prospects in the field of NGOs and international non-profit institutions.

The cultural and creative sector is made of a vast number of small businesses and freelancers specialised in a particular creative niche. Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship also stimulates the creative, entrepreneurial spirit, fully equipping you to start your own creative business.

Our graduates started their career in a variety of different fields, such as art markets, marketing, PR & management, events, fashion & design, media production, consultancy & policy, and research & education.

Academic Career

Graduates of Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship can apply for PhD positions in a variety of countries and disciplines.

They may also be eligible for an abridged programme of the Research Master Sociology of Culture, Media and the Arts at Erasmus University Rotterdam, which further strengthens their academic research skills.
