Creating Positive Societal Impact

A job at EUR is a job with impact. We carry out our mission, creating positive societal impact, in the broadest sense of the word. Naturally, it lies at the core of our research and education. But we look beyond those dimensions, with initiatives like the Erasmus Food Lab, Erasmus Love Lab, green choices in our campus construction and Impact at the Core. Internationally, EUR focuses on connections and cooperation, through initiatives such as UNIC. Over the next few years, we will strive to, both internally and externally, place even more emphasis on creating positive societal impact.

Achieving positive societal impact will require thinking outside the box and providing innovative solutions. Creativity and entrepreneurship are essential qualities in this process. At EUR, we stimulate you to develop your own, unique perspective and achieve novel insights. We encourage you to explore new avenues and critically assess existing ones. Achieving balance together

Our lives no longer solely revolve around work, and it is increasingly important that jobs offer room for development and a good balance between work and private life. As an employer we share this ideal and provide various services to encourage creating and maintaining the right balance. We offer, among other things, generous secondary benefits with up to eight weeks of paid leave a year, fully paid additional birth leave, and work-life balance coaches. For many of our positions you have the option to schedule your hours flexibly, and we stimulate a healthy mix of campus and remote work with our Blended Working policy.
