Why do we live in a world where there is so much division, hatred and misunderstanding? We all have a different background, so why do we still judge before we get to know someone? Philosophy allowed me to get a deeper understanding about questions like these. Does philosophy give you all the answers? No. But it does trigger you to think critically about everyday questions. It allows you to think beyond the surface and look at the deeper meaning of things. Philosophy is eye-opening and I think it would be an insightful addition to every main programme.
