This Master’s programme has offered me a very broad, yet clear understanding of the causes and consequences of massive changes in the relationship between politics and society. I have gained deeper theoretical knowledge in order to interpret and understand contemporary politics and social phenomena. I have also gained practical skills necessary to conduct research in a systematic and analytical way.
The skills and knowledge that I have acquired during my Master’s studies are an important asset in my current job. I work at Erasmus University Rotterdam at the department of Sociology and Public Administration. My tasks include policy preparatory work on an administrative and organisational level. I support the decision-making process and the implementation phase in the fields of education and research.
