Erasmus School of Economics of the Erasmus University Rotterdam offers various Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs, including the Dutch Bachelor in Economics & Business Economics and the Bachelor of Science programme in International Economics and Business Economics (IBEB).

A specialized finance track within the Economics & Business Economics bachelor curriculum (Major Financial Economics) prepares for the Master in Financial Economics.

The bachelor program Economics & Business Economics prepares for the bachelor degree (BSc) in Economics & Business Economics. It consists of a general program and several specialization tracks.

The bachelor curriculum includes a total study load of 180 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), spread over three years. One ECTS equals 28 hours of study load. Each year consists of five blocks of 12 ECTS each, giving a total yearly study load of 1,680 hours.

The first and second bachelor years consist of compulsory courses. In the third and last bachelor year, you can specialize by choosing a Major, which prepares for master programs, choose elective courses (including a Minor), and write your bachelor thesis.
