Keep us informed

We would love to hear how you are doing and how you are settling in! Drop us a line, whether you are enjoying yourself to the fullest (and have no time to respond, really), but also should any issues arise (very important!).

Problems, issues, safety

We can only help or advise you when these problems are pending. Let us know through e-mail or phone. We can call you if needed (include your Skype name and phone number when contacting us).

Examples of such issues include, but are not limited to:

  • hospitalisation or protracted illness;
  • (administrative) problems at the university that make it difficult to take courses;
  • feelings of loneliness or homesickness;
  • additional unexpected (excessive) university fees;
  • terrorist attacks;
  • a natural disaster.

If you forgot so yet before your departure, please check off the safety list that the International Office EUR has created to ensure you are fully prepared before and during your stay.

Alternative examinations

In case you need to make arrangements with your host university regarding alternative examinations, please inform the Exchange Coordinator well (i.e. in November at the latest) in advance.

Early departure

If you are considering leaving (or have already left) your exchange destination earlier than intended, make sure to inform Erasmus School of Economics as well as your host university immediately.

Course registration next block

Despite the fact that you are on exchange, make sure that you do not forget about your course registration in Rotterdam for the next block. You are required to take care of this yourself, just as you would do any other block.
