Students that complete this programme will have gained the expertise and skills to develop, implement, analyse, and evaluate economic policies in relation to sustainable development challenges. They will have also have skills in writing policy reports and first-hand experience in working with policy makers and non-academic experts. This expertise can be used in the following roles:
- Policy maker for regional, national, or international government agencies
- Researcher in economics, sustainable development, or corporate sustainability
- Consultant or advisor for policy implementation,
- Policy expert at a non-for-profit organisation
- CSR/Sustainability manager at a large or medium-sized firm
