On Monday, 16 April 2018, Dutch Minister of Social Affairs and Employment Wouter Koolmees joined the Master seminar Economic Policy of Prof. Bas Jacobs. Paul Tang, Member of the European Parliament for the Dutch Labour Party, joined the group on Friday, 20 April 2018.
Students, who prepared a policy paper about a topical issue related to inequality, were offered the opportunity to convince Wouter Koolmees and Paul Tang that their policy recommendation should be realized in practice. The promising presentations were followed by a lively discussion between the students and the Minister on Monday and the MEP on Friday.
