This symposium will bring together scholars working on various forms of platform-mediated labor, including areas beyond the dominant focus on gig work. Through a series of short research presentations, the event will highlight under-studied contexts such as gaming, social media, and livestreaming, as well as unpaid, informal, and hybrid forms of digital work.
