In conclusion, this dissertation contributes to the development of a multi-tiered intervention system that promotes student well-being universally while providing targeted support for vulnerable groups across educational stages. Part I demonstrated that universal socio-emotional learning programs are broadly effective and highlighted specific components, such as goal setting, academic support, and physical activity, which may be especially beneficial for students facing heightened risks. Part II extended this work into higher education by identifying procrastination as a promising intervention target for students high in concern over mistakes and by applying a dual-factor mental health framework to help-avoidant students, revealing meaningful heterogeneity within this often-overlooked group. Together, these findings underscore the importance of integrating universal and targeted strategies within a coherent support system to advance more equitable and effective practices that promote both the well-being and academic success of all students
