Conduct a research study

Information for research

The EBL helps you conduct your research. As the researcher, you or the PhD students, volunteers and students involved are responsible for setting up an experiment or research correctly.

The EBL supports the execution in various ways:

  1. Before you start designing your experiment or research, we recommend arranging a meeting about using the EBL. This will ensure that the research topic and execution optimally converge when you start to use the EBL. Contact EBL by sending an email to ebl@essb.eur.nl.
  2. The EBL offers researchers various (preconfigured) setups for conducting psychological and behavioural research.
  3. EBL staff have experience in designing, setting up and supporting research and analysing data.
  4. EBL staff will be happy to contribute ideas and provide advice and service, in both conducting and preparing your research.

Request access to EBL

To make use of EBL facilities you need to have your account activated for the EBL. Request access using the "Request a login account"-button on MyEUR.

Scheduling your experiment

Book and reserve your test or experiment via the EBL booking system. The URL for this system is accessible via campus computers, VPN or MyApps off-campus. Before you can actively book in the system, your account needs to be activated via an EBL staff member so that you can log in. Contact EBL by sending an email to ebl@essb.eur.nl.

The key to your lab

You can access the various Lab areas via an automated key cabinet, where keys for the areas are issued. Access to this key cabinet and all standard lab areas is issued by the EBL staff to researchers who request a login for the booking system.
