Dear international ESSB students,
As communicated earlier, we at ESSB hope to be able to provide mostly on-campus education in September. Therefore, we would like to emphasize again that we strongly invite and require all (international) students to travel to the Netherlands for the start of the academic year. Only if it is physically impossible to make it to the Netherlands due to travel restrictions (covid-related visa problems or closing of borders) we can offer online education.
We understand that the situation in various countries is or may become uncertain in the coming weeks due to travel restrictions. To prepare for the academic year the best way we can and offer everyone the education he or she needs, we will send out a survey to all international students in the week of the 16th of August. In this survey we will ask those who expect not to be able to travel to Rotterdam for the start of the academic year, to let us know. Again, we expect everyone who can to come to Rotterdam, but if you won’t be able to travel, we would like you to tell us.
So, keep please an eye on your student email in the week of 16th of August. If any student is not to complete the survey, we will take it for granted that you will be in the Netherlands to follow on-campus education come the start of the academic year. Failure to let us know in time may lead to negative consequences when starting your studies
