Alissa van Zijl is a PhD candidate at the Department of Public Administration and Sociology of Erasmus University Rotterdam. In her PhD she studies teams in the context of primary care. She conducts survey research and uses quantitative methods to understand the relationship between the characteristics, processes and outcomes of primary care teams. One of her main interests is to understand the seemly paradoxical mechanisms related to the interprofessional character of primary care teams.
