Relevant bachelor diploma's
Your degree has to be equivalent to the bachelor programmes offered by Erasmus School of Economics. Your degree in economics and/or business economics or econometrics needs to be equivalent in both level and content. Click here for more information about the curriculum of our bachelor's degree programmes.
The examination board decides whether your obtained bachelor's degree is sufficient for admission to a (pre-)master programme. In any case, the examination board carefully reviews each application. Should your previous education not be sufficient for admission to a master’s degree programme the examination board will always review your application for possible admittance for a pre-master programme instead.
Due to the many factors involved in the admission decision-making process, the examination board does not elaborate on their motivations on the outcome of the decision.
All our programmes are taught from a strong quantitative approach. A solid background in mathematics and statistics is a necessity for every programme. Your background in mathematics and statistics has to show from your university transcript. Also, different master specialisations require a certain academic background additional to having a relevant bachelor degree click here for more information about the required subjects for specific master specialisations.
