From leadership and incentives to gender and creativity: what determines how workplaces function? On 19 and 20 March, almost 100 scholars in personnel economics will visit campus Woudestein to participate in the 28th Colloquium on Personnel Economics (COPE), organised by Dana Sisak, Thomas Peeters, and Robert Dur from Erasmus School of Economics.

Speakers
The conference features two keynotes. Alan Benson (University of Minnesota) will discuss the question: ‘What do managers do, and how do we pick them?’ In another keynote, Christina Gathmann (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research) will talk about boss effects in the labour market.
Topics
There are also 24 parallel sessions covering virtually all research areas in personnel economics. Think management practices, leadership, work councils, but also personality traits, creativity, gender, and much more.
Registration
Erasmus School of Economics faculty and students can participate for free. You can join a single or a few sessions, or attend the whole conference, as you like. Registration is not necessary. There is a conference dinner. For people who want to join this, payment is required.
