From 15 to 17 December 2019, Erasmus School of Economics will be the host of the annual Winter meeting of the Econometric Society.
Plenary speakers will be Stephane Bonhomme (University of Chicago) and Gianluca Violante (Princeton University). The programme chair is Claudio Michelacci (EIEF, Roma).Â
Job Market for Economists on 18 and 19 December 2019
The ESWM 2019 will be held back-to-back with the second European Job Market for Economists. This job market is launched by the European Economic Association (EEA). 101 institutions (universities, central banks, financial institutions, etc.) have registered to hold interviews with candidates in Rotterdam.
The Job Market will be hosted by Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, on 18 and 19 December 2019.
About the Econometric Society Winter Meeting
For over fifty years, the European Winter Meetings of the Econometric Society have fostered interaction among a small group of young scholars and a group of senior academics representing different regions and fields of specialization.
Many of today’s leading European economists kick-started their careers at one of these meetings. At the turn of the century, the meetings began to focus on PhD students close to finishing their thesis.
