During the Take-Off, you will get acquainted with your study programme, the faculty and your fellow students. You will also receive practical information about studying at Erasmus School of Economics, the university systems and life on campus and in the city. By the end of the day, you will be well prepared to begin your academic journey.
Duration of the Take-Off
The ESE Take-Off takes place on Campus Woudestein and typically runs between 09:00 and 18:00. After the official programme, study associations may organise optional social activities.
What to expect
The programme of the Take-Off consists of several parts that will help you get started with your studies. The day begins with a plenary session, where you will be welcomed by the programme or academic director.
This is followed by the “Get Started” session, in which current students share their experiences and provide practical tips about studying at Erasmus School of Economics.
After the plenary session, you will meet your mentor and mentor group. Your mentor is a senior student who will guide you during the first phase of your studies. This session is an important opportunity to get to know your fellow students. Depending on your programme, the day may also include additional sessions or a social activity organised by the study association.
