The Department of Public Administration and Sociology of Erasmus University Rotterdam is a part of the European Master in Migration Studies (EuMIGS) exchange programme. EuMIGS is Europe’s largest network of institutes in the area of migration studies and allows students to go abroad and gain knowledge and experience in the field of migration studies at a leading European university.
Master programme Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD)
Master students from partners within the EuMIGS network are welcome at Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB) for exchange in the first semester (Sept – Jan) of the academic year.
During the exchange, students can take courses of the one-year master programme Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD), which integrates knowledge from various disciplines with a focus on how public and private organisations can respond to the opportunities offered and the challenges posed by migration and diversity. It brings together history, sociology, politics, international development, and urban design as a foundation for a better understanding of the governance of migration and diversity.
