Check out the Erasmus Student Network Rotterdam (ESN), the international student organization of Erasmus University Rotterdam! They create a home for all international students in Rotterdam and organize over 150 events throughout the year.

Most international students from outside the EU/EEA studying in the Netherlands for more than 90 days need to apply for an entry visa and/or Dutch residence permit. Please find out more about immigration procedure here.

If you will be living in the Netherlands for more than 4 months, you are obliged to register at the City Hall in the town in which you are living. 

Finding a place to stay in Rotterdam can be difficult. It is your own responsibility to find accommodation, here you will find information to get you started.
